The West Virginia School of Traditional Skills is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that works with other businesses and organizations to provide experiential education using creation to empower people to reconnect with nature. We encourage the use of natural resources in a sustainable way to achieve personal and community wellness. We teach everything from birthing to butchering in animal husbandry. Planting, harvesting, and preserving your own food through gardening with and without high tunnels. Forest Farming, Mt. Medicine, hunting, fishing, and self sufficiency.
As a guest of Laurel River Club BnB you have access to many of these experiences, but we do offer off site educational experiences as well.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help provide experiential education. Your generous donation will fund our mission to teach traditional skills to as many people as we can.
Everyone loves the biscuits at LRCBnB! Learn to make them by signing up for the experience during your stay or here's a short video to get you started.
