Through the West Virginia School of Traditional Skills, our farm serves as a living classroom offering hands-on learning experiences that honor Appalachian heritage while inspiring a deeper connection to nature.
Surrounded by more than 920,000 acres of national forest, West Virginia’s longest hiking trail, three state parks, and vast wilderness areas, the farm is a natural gateway to outdoor adventure, exploration, and quiet reflection.
Guests are invited to step into our daily farm life by staying at Laurel River Club Bed & Breakfast, where you can fully experience the atmosphere of a real working farm, whether you come to learn, unwind, or simply breathe deeper. We encourage a digital detox, though Starlink is available if you need to stay connected.
